Bleep Bloop: Designing the Perfect Avatar

Collegehumor.com compares avatar creation on the Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360 consoles. Their observations are brief and superficial but what I like about it is that this is very much the knee-jerk reaction from outside the industry echo-chamber. (You know, the place where customers come from!)

    “…I’m playing videogames to escape the reality of my ugly existence…” Perfect! What if an avatar creation system was layered? A simple layer that would satisfy most people, a more advanced and detailed layer for people who view the creation of a detailed avatar an important part of their gaming experience.
